My First Challenge for the Year

Well January seems to be flying by at a great rate of knots, the kids will be back to school before we know it. Hubby is on holidays & we are enjoying daily sleep ins & then the day spent pottering around the house, I can't remember the last time our January holidays have been so cruisey.

I did spend the afternoon in my craft room as I need to make a couple of cards for January birthdays, & what a better place to start than with a challenge. The card I made is for my Sister in law & follows the colour challenge at Pals Paper Arts & the CAS challenge at Young Crafters Unite.

I have used a flower from the Beautiful Blooms stamp set, sentiment  from the Birthday Basics stamp set & the Book Print  Impression Plate all from PTI ,

Inside the card

Card & Envelope

Thanks for dropping by,

Happy Stamping

  3. Great card - love the crisp white with the blues. I like that you layered the dry embossed panel onto the cardbase, that way the inside of the card is a smooth panel. Thanks for that little tip, I'm going to start doing that too!
