Purple & Lots of Bling

Hi Everyone,
PURPLE & LOTS BLING that was what I was told when I asked my daughter Emily if she had any requests for her birthday card, my first thought was OK, but then the panic set in & I had to go through that pile of patterned paper that I have accumululated over the years & I managed to find some paper that Emily has asked to use before so I knew at least she liked it then the search was back on then for cardstock I new matched so back into the house from the studio searching for the cardstock (yes can you beleive i have been in my studio for more than 5months & I still have stuff inside in the office cupboards). Cardstock found I then decided to use one of the Mojo Monday sketches & this is what I came up with a little to blingy for my liking but I know she will love it. I even tried outling the picture in light grey like the professionals (mine doesn't look very professional but its OK for my first time. So here it is I hope you don't get blinded by the reflection of the bling.

Babies Bib

Hi everyone,
Hope you all had a lovely weekend, I have been busy today with our Demonstrator meeting this morning & spent the afternoon chatting to the ladies who attended my Upline's workshop, in the studio.
I have another baby card to show its just gorgeous but I can't take credit for the design  as I got the idea from splitcoaststampers.
The babies bib is made using the Scallop circle die from the Bigshot range, I have then cut the inner circle with the circle scissor & embossed it with the Polka Dots embossing folder also from the Bigshot range
I have used the turtle from the fox & friends stamp set & then finished off with bashful blue grossgrain ribbon.

Eastern Blooms

Hi,
My card today is the second card we made at the same workshop as the Birdie Punch gift box, again the hostess requested a card using the Eastern Blooms set its her favourite & I know she liked a card I posted previously, so I tried keeping the card quite simple for the new stampers but blinged it up a bit with the chunky glitter & mounting up one of the flowers. At the workshop we substituted the Kiwi Kiss with Old Olive it was a much more complimentry.

Card Recipe:
Stamp Set: Eastern Blooms & A Little Birthday Cheer
Cardstock: Tempting turquiose & whisper white
Ink: melon mambo, tempting turquiose, pumpkin pie & kiwi kiss.
Chunky Glitter & Eyelet border punch

Birdie Punch gift box

I made this little box for a workshop a couple of weeks ago the Hostess wanted to do a small gift package & this is what I came up with, it's a bit of case of the gift box from the Summer Mini.

Well for those that follow my blog may have thought they were somewhere else as I am the first to admit I am the worst at writing lovely scripted post but I will try harder today.

For some you may have come here from the talented Felicity Fernandez or you may well be starting here either way enjoy the ride.

If you don't have a copy of the Autumn Winter Mini catalogue just click here to see all the wonderful products on offer including the Bigshot Die Cutting Machine & dies exclusive to Stampin' Up. If you would like to receive a hard copy please email me at rfplatzer@bigpond.com
& I can pop one in the mail.

The first product I want to showcase is the Vintage Vogue Stamp set available in Wood Mount $40.95 & Clear Mount $30.95. I just love it & it would have to be one of my favourites but then I luvvv them all. I have chosen a blue theme for this set of cards, but would also look great done in Plums, Pinks or Kraft & highlight colour.

This card was made using the Top Note die , flowers & greeting from the Vintage Vogue set finished off with Rhinestone brads from the Pretties Kit & grosgrain ribbon.

This card again uses the Top Note die from the Bigshot range but this time I have cut off the perforations on the white piece to allow for the Night of Navy border.

This card is a similar card to what is in the catalogue but I have finished it of with some Hodgepodge Hardware & grosgrain ribbon.

my last card in this set uses the flower again but finished off this time with pearls from the Petties Kit.

The second & third product I want to showcase is the Top Note die $42.95 from the Bigshot range & the 2 Step bird punch $30.95.
The set of note cards I have made use the Top Note Die did I mention just how versatile this die is. To make the card I have folded a piece of cardstock in half & placed it just below the perforations on the top of the die & then put it through the bigshot. I have then used the 2 Step Bird punch (which are a new design that folds down flat for storage). I have punched the leaves in Kiwi Kiss & the bird in the In Colour range & his wing in Matching DSP.
The note card box was made to fit the four note cards in nicely.

My last lot of products to showcase is the new colours we have Melon Mambo, Soft Suede, & Rich Razzleberry. I have also used the coordinating ribbon & the Share a Cup Stamp just $11.95 a must have to add to the collection.
I have made a set of three note cards perfect for sending a quick hello or thank you to friends & family & I have finished the card off with a pearl from the Pretties Kit & some Hemp Twine.

As with previous Blog Hops we are offering Blog Candy. All you need to do is complete the blog hop leaving a comment on every blog & then Email Sharlene at stampwithsharlene@hotmail.com who will then in turn put your name into the draw for the Blog Candy. There will be one winner from New Zealand & one from Australia.
