Hi Everyone,
Tonight I would like to share a card with you one of the cards the ladies made at last fortnights class.
The Fifth Ave Floral flow was made by stamping on a laminating pouch in Stazon Ink & then remove backing from laminate & adhere to some patterned paper & then trim the flower as required. The end result is a gorgeous gloss finish to the flower, which I might add you can't see in the photo.
Thanks for stopping by.

Papertrey May Blog Hop Challenge
Well I just had a very productive couple of hours while hubby has been watching State of Origin (a Rugby League game where New South Wales v's Queensland) for those not from Australia.
I would normally watch it, except when Nichole Heady's (Designer & co-owner of Papertrey Ink) Blog update came through today & she said they were having a Blog Hop, I knew I wanted to make something because you all know how much I am loving my Papertrey Ink Goodies, & a few guilt free hours in my craft room just did the trick. WOW my first ever PTI Blog Hop.
The challenge for the Blog Hop this time was to use flowers from the Papertrey Ink range.
That should be easy enough considering I own several gorgeous sets & dies.
I set out to make 1 card & ended up with 4. My only concern now is, are they of a high enough standard? As I had a chance to check out the posts from the last Blog Hop & there are so many talented people out there.
As you will be able to tell from he cards I have made I just love using the Beautiful Bloom II #1 die & the Fabulous Felt. The die has a lovely finish when used to cut cardstock & works just as well when cutting through the felt. The felt is really versatile not only could you use it in conjuction with the dies, but could cut out your own design freehand. I would love to make some pretty felt embellishments you attach to either headbands or clips for the girls.
If I could just have a few weeks with no other committments like washing, cooking & working, think of the creations I could come up with. OH TO DREAM!!!!!!
I am happy with how they turned out & would love to here your comments.
Now I just need to stay awake to post the link as far as I can work out it will be midnight Australian time.
Till next time

Flying High
Hello Everyone,
I can't believe where the days are going the weeks are just flying by, a bit like the Dirt biker card I have to share. We made this card at one of my classes where the ladies wanted some cards for boys & teens & you don't get much more boyish than this Extreme Dirt Bike stamp. again I have revamped a card I made for my son's birthday, this time using a few more colours.
If you are interested in making some cards for boys & teens I am holding a workshop in July all details are available by accessing the link at the top of the page.
Hope you like my card.

Inkspirations Challenge & Some Vintage Seam Binding
WOW it's been so long since I participated in Makeesha's Inkspiration Challenge, after seeing the colours, I thought I should change that, these colours were screamin vintage to me, but as I am not having any luck with vintage I went with a CAS card instead using the Sketch from the Sweet Sunday challenge (sorry Blogger won't let me go back & insert Sketch picture) another challengeI haven't participated in for a long while, so without anymore waffling here is my card.
It uses the Everyday Button Bits stamp set from PTI, everything else is pretty self explanatory.
Also wanted to share with you my attempt at creating some vintage inspired seam binding using the colours from the challenge It's just GORGEOUS!!! I first saw it on Etsy & thought I could make that.
I coloured white seam binding that I have For Sale with SU reinkers & then dried off with my heat gun.
I will put together a Tutorial when I have a little more time, but if you need to know now you can email me & I can give you the steps to follow & a few tips.
I have used the Perfect Plum reinker for this one
This one has been coloured with the Crumb Cake reinker
This one is coloured with the Pretty in Pink reinker. I also coloured some with Old Olive & Baja Breeze.
I hope you agree they are GORGEOUS, I may even colour some more & add it to the plain seam binding already for sale.
Bye for now

CR84FN Colour Challenge
Hi Everyone,
Last night I sat down & printed out quite a few challenges for this week & there seemed to be a common theme amongst them,& that being the colour plum & I do love the colour plum.
My first card to share is one I made for the CR84FN colour challenge the colours were Pale Plum, Plum & Kraft. Initially I thought I would make a vintage inspired card & the flowers I bought online were my starting point,I had also hoped to include to lovely lace I have in my stash, I just couldn't get it to work though.
The end result wasn't entirely vintage, maybe CAS Vintage & Modern all rolled into one if that's possible.
I would love to know what you think, so please do leave a comment.
I have another post to type up & also a sneak peak of some vintage inspired seam binding that I created, so you don't miss out you can sign up to receive Email updates just follow the link in the top right side bar.
I'll be back soon

Button Bits Bicycle
Howdy Everyone,
Hope you all had a fab weekend, I have had a good weekend, went to my first Copics class yesterday & learnt a little more on how to use the Copics to their full potential, although I am still not that good with the shading. I have another class next Saturday so I hope to do a little more practice this week & today was spent with some lovely ladies stamping.
I have quite a few cards to share, so I may just have to do some scheduled posts for when we are in Bali.
The card I have to share with you that I made a couple of weeks ago,
but hadn't got around to doing a post for it.
It uses Bicycle image from the PTI Everyday Button Bits stamp set (such a cute set),
& the cuttlebug embossing folder for the background.
I love how it turned out the CAS style really suits this image, may just have to try a few more from this set in
using CAS style.
I hope to do a couple of challenges tomorrow, so I should be back with something to share, till then.

Tonights class cards
Hi Everyone,
I can't believe its only 3pm & I am 80% organised for my class tonight, although I don't know what we are going to have for dinner.
I have been busy creating this week for 3 different classes & I now have only 2 cards left to design & cut up & that's for Sunday. May even have time to get some groceries as the fresh food supply is virtually non existent.
Today I am going to share with you the cards we are making at tonight's class, for this weeks class I don't really have a new technique other that to show the ladies that you can also turn the Embossing folder on the side & only emboss part of a card front.
If you live in the Canberra region & would like to attend my classes just click on the tab under the Blog Title for more information.
Mt first card is a gender neutral baby card always good to have in the stash, I have used Nursery Necessities stamp set & embossing folder from SU. Scallop border die from PTI & scallop square die from Spellbinders.
For this card I turned the embossing folder on it's side & embossed only a portion of the card front, this folder is great for baby cards sort of reminds me of a waffle weave baby blanket.

This card uses the Motorcycle stamp from SU, I have used the Mat stack die from PTI & don't you just love the checker plate metal background, & no it's not an embossing folder & foil! can you believe its contact that I bought from KMart, Hubby thinks it's cool & wants to line his shelves in the shed with it, but he will have to get his own roll or two. This card will also be for hubby's birthday next week, although he is more of a dirt bike man, you would think at 51 he would choose a more leisurely pursuit, his dream is to ride up to Cape York on the bike & I agree he should do it & while he is on the tour I can spend the week in Luxury at a 5star resort in Cairns not as his back up support driver in the 4 wheel drive as he would wish.
The last cards is the same design I have made before just a different colours this time & I have also used the beautiful Seam Binding I have for sale see the tabs just under the blog title.
Wow I have really waffled on today I think this would be one of my longer posts. So I had better go & finishing cleaning the studio for tonight.

Bridal Shower card
It has only taken me all weekend to finally make it back to share with you the card I made for the Kichen Tea/ Bridal Shower I had the pleasure of going to this afternoon. Mind you I only got it finished 5 minutes before we were due to leave & actually came back inside to photograph it.
Because the brain wasn't feeling very creative I stuck with a card similar to what I have made before using Tea For Two stamp set from PTI & a neutral colour scheme,I did at least use my latest acquistition Seam binding. I made a double bow & tied on a matching button.
The seam binding is just so soft & has a gorgeous sheen to it. I just need to come up with some
more cards to showcase just how beautiful it is! I origianly spotted it on some American blogs & later saw it on Danielle Daws co founder of Just add Ink Blog, Danielle does beutiful work & even has a tutorial on tying a double bow. After being desparate to get my hand on some. I eventually found it on the internet, but had to order it in 100yd rolls & as I will never use all that I have decided to sell some off to my blog readers. You will find a link & all the info on a Tab under my Blog title.
The Bride to be loved her card & I hope you do to .
Blogger is still playing silly buggers with the formatting & this is my third attempt to get the photos up but now I can't resize them.

Here comes the Bride
Well I was supposed to be making a Bridal Shower card for this weekend, but that didn't happen! I ended up making another all white Wedding card this is my previous one, as I just loved the lace effect, dazzling diamonds glitter & white embossing powder made, when heat embossed on Vellum using the Bella Toile image.
I would like to include this card in the challenge over at Pals Paper Arts which was to make something for a wedding using the inspiration picture, and also the jac-inks challenge #8 which was Heat Embossing
Now I am totally peeved Blogger is still not cooperating, so if the formatting is all over the place, it's Bloggers' Fault.
Hopefully will be back with more to share over the weekend.

First Copic Colouring attempt
Hi Everyone,
Yesterday my Copics arrived so whilst hubby was out last night I set about having a little practice, I coloured a few different images, trying different techniques for shading & colouring. I am really happy with my first attempt although I may just have to purchase some more line image stamps.
And today I made a couple that were OK, into cards. I have tried to keep both cards reasonably simple & would love to know what you think.
The first card uses an A FREE digi stamp from Buguboo, I love how he has turned out, although my photography doesn't show the shading very well. As for the card itself, I could have moved the image over a little & I am not sure what it's missing. I did try to add a button, but it just wasn't right, so I decided on a few little red bling spots & to be truthful I dont like them either but they were stuck down already.

For my second card I used the hippo image from the Pun Fun stamp set, the shading is showing a little better in this photo, just not 100%. Again I kept the card simple by using the Happy Birthday wheel from SU & some satin ribbon & button & a little Crystal effects to the balloon & centre of the bow.

An all White Wedding Card
Wow, I can't believe I have spent all afternoon trying to create this post in Blogger & it just wasn't cooperating, I had to change back to the old editor to work, now I can't make my photos any bigger.
Todays card is a Wedding Card I made for the challenge over at Less Is More.
The challenge was to create an All White Card & as I will need a wedding card later in the month, I used that as my starting point.
The background of the card & the flower are both Velum which has been Heat Embossed with a mixture of white embossing powder & dazzling diamonds glitter & it looks absolutely gorgeous, I never really blow my own trumpet, but it looks like real lace. I have also used the Shimmer Card stock from SU so the whole card dazzles. The rose is one I have made several times before using the Fancy Flower punch.
After I was finished I thought the card needed something else so i decided to add some
diamatees to the corner, I have included a photo with & without so I would love to know what you think.

Sorry I haven't been back with the cards as promised using the seam binding, but for some reason I was having a Mojo crisis & was also away all day yeaterday visiting my mum & most of today has been finalising some urgent paperwork.

Some cards from Class
Today I want to share with you some cards we made at my class last night.
The first card was made using my new favourite colour scheme, with goodies from PTI, this card is similar to some I posted earlier in the week, I just stepped this up a little for class, I also added little bling since I photographed it.
The girls all really liked stamping with the PTI stamps, so I will definitely be using them more in my classes from now on. I have also decided I with go ahead with a Boys All Day Card Workshop in July date to be decided, as some of the ladies want to make cards just for boys ranging from 7-16. I will base the workshop around 3-4 of the Latest Release PTI stamps for April, if you would like more information please Email me with your interest so I can keep you informed.

Part of the gift set
The card this card is based on a card I found on splitcoaststampers by Ann Schach. I changed the colours, Flower, sentiment & ribbon but the layout is basically the same
A coordinating box to hold some gifts.
A For You stamp & Kerri's favourite Lindt chocolate wrapped in DSP.
& finally a personalised journal just for Kerri.
I still have a couple of cards to share so I will be back a little later with those.

Secret Sister Gifts for March
Today I want to share with you what I made for my Secret Sister for March, one of Kerri's favourite DSP's was Elegant Soiree, So I based the whole gift around the DSP.
I used the new set called Nature Walk & did a little collage stamping & finished the whole set of the lots of Glimmer Mist spray.
Whole gift Set
Some collage stamping for the card & a gorgeous antique brad to finish.
Gift box made using Big Shot die, which contained a small heart punch.
Local handmade soap wrapped in DSP & topped with a butterfly, Embossing Folder wrapped with DSP & topped with a hand made rose.
Close up of the rose , so you can see how beautifully it glimmered (probably not a real word but I am going to use it anyway).
Off to teach a class now.
Thanks for looking.
